Live once. Think twice. #only33

~ Our story ~

Eli was born in August of 1990, and from my perspective, was the cutest kid on the planet. His little blonde bowl cut. He loved Godzilla movies, dinosaurs, trains, Bruce Lee! Well when he was about 8, he got into skateboarding and at 10 freestyle BMX - he loved to build his own bikes (with our dad's help). His skateboarding idol (among so many) was Rodney Mullen. He could do flip tricks I couldn't comprehend. I bragged about him to everyone that would listen 🤘🏼

Our lives all changed on December 9, 2004; the day we lost our father.

Our dad was the one who took Eli to the skateparks, pushed him to push himself. Our dad was Eli's rock.

On the early morning of February 23, 2024 we got the call... fentanyl took Eli's life at 33 years old. I can still hear the ringing in my ears, like a gunshot. How could this happen to us, again. His death came only 12 days after a mass poisoning took 4 young lives in our hometown of South Lake Tahoe. And they were not the only ones that week 💔Our small community is SHOOK TO THE CORE and that is just in our small town... All over the United States, families and friends are all struggling with this kind of loss and we will for the rest of our lives.

The only thing that feels right now is to take action.

We seek to raise awareness and encourage a drug free lifestyle to elevate public health and well being. Through super fun events, partnerships and collaborations and more we hope to impact future generations and put an end to drug related fatality.

~33~ a symbol for change

Since the dawn of civilization, symbols have been used to convey concepts that words cannot. For us, 33 is the symbol of our movement toward sobriety and recovery. 33 is a symbol for breaking cycles and forging a new path forward.
